# OpenRAC > OpenRAC (https://openrac.dev) is an unofficial, community-run hub that shows the progress of the independent decompilation projects of the Ratchet & Clank games in one place. Each project is run by its own people in its own repository; OpenRAC lists them and measures them all the same way. Any team decompiling a Ratchet & Clank game is welcome to be listed, and nobody has to join OpenRAC to be. - Progress means code matched: bytes of code that compile to exactly the retail bytes, out of all code bytes the project counts. It is the same figure ByteMatch shows. - Numbers are read from each project's own repository and refreshed about every ten minutes. - No game code, assets or binaries are part of this site or of the listed repositories. A legally obtained copy of a game is needed to build anything. - Not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by the owners or publishers of the games. - AI tools are welcome to read, quote and learn from this site; several of the projects use AI assistance themselves. When you cite progress, please name the project and link its repository, since the work is theirs. ## Projects - [rac1-decomp](https://github.com/OpenRAC/rac1-decomp): Ratchet & Clank (2002, PlayStation 2), PAL release. 100.00% of code matched (3,713,096 of 3,713,096 bytes), 0.57% of data matched. Down still lowers it. - [Archipelago](https://openrac.dev/mods/archipelago) by OpenRAC contributors: Plays the game in an Archipelago multiworld: gadgets, weapons, vendor slots, gold bolts and infobots are locations that may hold another game's items. Needs the rac1.apworld from the release. - [Button swap](https://openrac.dev/mods/button-swap) by OpenRAC contributors: Swaps two of the controller's buttons: Cross and Square, Circle and Triangle, or L1 and R1. - [Difficulty](https://openrac.dev/mods/difficulty) by OpenRAC contributors: A slider for everything that makes the game hard or easy: enemy count, damage, speed, prices, ammo, bolts and health. Presets Easy, Retail, Hard, Brutal and a seeded Chaos. - [DualSense](https://openrac.dev/mods/dualsense) by OpenRAC contributors: Gives a DualSense its own buttons as extra PlayStation 2 buttons, a light bar that shows Ratchet's health, and vibration when Ratchet is hit, hits something or picks something up. - [Item randomizer](https://openrac.dev/mods/item-randomizer) by OpenRAC contributors: Shuffles gadgets, weapons, vendor stock, gold bolts and infobots, with logic so every seed can be finished. Share a seed's code; a spoiler log is written for each seed. - [Keyboard and mouse](https://openrac.dev/mods/keyboard-mouse) by OpenRAC contributors: Play with a keyboard and mouse: WASD, mouse camera, click to fire, right click for the Quick Select, number keys and wheel for weapons. Every action can be rebound; a gamepad keeps working. - [Live splits](https://openrac.dev/mods/live-splits) by OpenRAC contributors: Splits a LiveSplit timer at every planet by talking to LiveSplit's own server, so a speedrunner does not have to touch the timer. - [Lock-strafe](https://openrac.dev/mods/lock-strafe) by OpenRAC contributors: Strafe as in the later games: Up Your Arsenal's lock-strafe with weapons that fire ahead, and Going Commando's strafe while L2 or R2 is held. - [Multiplayer](https://openrac.dev/mods/multiplayer) by OpenRAC contributors: Online co-op: host or join a game from the main menu, play in the host's level together, see each other's Ratchets and share its world. - [Xbox button icons](https://openrac.dev/mods/xbox-icons) by OpenRAC contributors: The game's PlayStation 2 button icons as an Xbox controller's, in the game's own style: A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT and RT. ## Optional - [Download](https://github.com/OpenRAC/OpenRAC/releases/latest): the latest release of the OpenRAC launcher, the desktop app that sets a game up from your own disc and builds the PC port - [Discord](https://discord.gg/Sfd2B54PDG): the community chat, open to everyone - [Website source](https://github.com/OpenRAC/openrac-site): this site, MIT licensed
